Its been awhile

Okay so not good on posting this summer been busy. Andrea finally got her white slip so look out if you're driving around the Ingraham Wendelin area. Not much is happening outside of running kids to Dr apt for school and shots and dentist. It has been quite the busy summer. I still have no job as of yet we will see what happens. Til the next time I make it back here keep cool and have a great rest of the summer.

The Big Day came and went

So as most of you know that Saturday Jeremy and Tab got married. What a day. I know some of you are going to think what I am about to say is rude but it is the truth in how I feel and how he has hurt my family . Jeremy was officially removed from the family by me. He was gutless, rude and against laying claim to us as being his family. He very much hurt my parents when he would not acknowledge them. After the mass was over (and the mess cleaned up from his brides brilliant idea to have party poppers.) they left the church without having a family photo taken with his family(this set the mood for the rest of the day.) I feel like I have the right to complain about him since I spent over $319.00 just so my 2 kids could be a part of the wedding. I feel like that if Jess, Mary and I wouldn't have shown up he wouldn't have even cared. At the reception is where we found out that, that day was about one person and one person only (you guessed it the bride.) He dad gave a wonderful speech that in the long run he basically said his daughter was a popular whore.(sorry if this makes anyone mad this is my blog and my story and I am truly and deeply hurt.) (Jeremy and Tab if you some how found out about this blog and read know that I am not sorry for what I have said. I feel like you two need a dose of reality. Jeremy you are my children's only blood uncle they don't have another one around and I feel that if Luke's brother Robert was still alive my kids wouldn't know you(you are never around). I feel like Jeremy and Tab owe my parents an apology for how they left them hanging and how rude and mistreated they were. My son Seth who is Jeremy's god child made a comment about how Jeremy only comes around once in a blue moon and wants them to be his buddy and that he is tired of it. I was also informed that Jeremy had to call my sister (not sure why he didn't call me) to find out what my daughters (his own niece) last name was. I think Jeremy should have taken Tab's last name because that is where he belongs not with us any more. I don't want anyone to think that just because I was not in the wedding is why I am angry that it not the case I could have cared less. It is the fact that he couldn't even gives us 5 seconds for a family photo, and that when the guest list had to be cut that he cut family members instead of her dad and sisters friends. In closing with tears in my eyes this has not been easy and will take a long time to heal.

Tomorrow is the BIG DAY

As most people know tomorrow my brother is getting married. Seth and Karli are in the wedding. I can not wait til this day is over. I think I have spent more money on this wedding than I did my own. Well I hope by Tuesday I will have some pics download so you all can see.

I just wanted to wish my baby girl a Happy Birthday. We had a party yesterday for her she was so excited now she can't wait for supper (I let the kids pick their favorite meal so ) we are having hot dogs(on the grill) mac and cheese, chips, and brownies.

So I finally got up enough nerve to ask Lacey if I could post pics of her daughter Maddie( which is also my adopted niece) she said sure so she came to visit with me last night and I got some news pics of her. Maddie is going to be 9 months old this month and I so remember the day she was born like it was yesterday.

What a rainy day

I am so tired of the rain. Sunshine would be great. I guess the rain matches the horrible week that it has been. To many accidents over the last week and weekend(no fatal ones or extremely serious ones.) Also I was notified on Tuesday morning that at the Monday night board meeting I along with a few other classroom aides were let go(with intent of rehire for next year.) I am not really the worried about it, it will be what it will be. I finally have my house back to norm no more remodeling for a little while (Thank goodness.) Since the remodel part has slowed down my children has seemed to turn up the extras after school plus Jeremy is getting married in few weeks and Seth and Karli are both in the wedding. I feel if one more thing gets added to already busy month of May I will scream. i hope to get different pics loaded on here soon.

I would like to let everyone know that today is D.A.R.E. grad for Seth at Grove Elementary and he won the essay contest out of the boys. So today I am only working a half day so I can go to it. Words can't express how proud his dad and I are of him. CONGRATS SETH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh what weekend

Well we replaced our tub in our master bathroom so now I am back to one bathroom again. We did take a little time off on Saturday to go mushroom hunting(not a good idea.) Luke and I took the two girls and Seth I think the girls lasted 45 mins and they were done so while Luke and Seth stayed in the woods I took the girls back to van where we waited probably an hour and a half. We found around 30 mushrooms. I finished painting the kids bathroom ( Seth claims it is the color of the dog(Copper's) poop. I like it. Not sure what color to paint my master???? If all goes well I should be back in my bathroom by mid-week. I think after all of these remodels we are going to take a few days off.

Its officially over & (so are the weekend projects kinda)

I think from my understanding my sister Jessica and her husband Brad and their neighbors Brad and Sherry Slankard have won the battle with Clay City and will be able to send their kids to Jasper Unit #1 school(CONGRATS.) I know it has been a while since I have posted anything but I have been on Spring Break and wow am I glad to be back at work for some rest. Seth has officially been moved to his new room in the basement(it looks awesome.) We have know started to redo the bathroom upstairs (leaking tubs.) It has been a lot of hard work we even scrapped the popcorn off the ceiling what a mess but it looks much better. I hope I will be able to paint the kids bathroom this weekend and start on our master next(it be the same thing.) Well wish me luck and if you see my sister or brother in-law or Brad and Sherry Slankard tell them congrats .

SPRING BREAK

That's right today at 2:10 I am officially on SPRING BREAK. I am not sure what I will do for the next 10 days, oh wait I have a basement that needs painted(I am taking any one that is willing to come help.) So last night I painted Seth's room (the paint color is called Crisp Toast) now it is ready for the mural (a Browning symbol.) I really fell in love with his wall color so I am going to paint the walls in the living down there the same color. On another note I want to say congrats to Jake Nelson(Luke's cousin) and Stacey Wendling they will be getting hitched on Saturday April 4. I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter and that the Easter Bunny may find you.

I have been told to update

Okay here I go I know it has been awhile but I have been busy. Since the last time I posted ALOT has happened. I don't even know where to start. We are one step closer to finishing Seth's room in the basement. Luke's uncle Jerry and good family friend Spot came over yesterday to splatter and knockdown the walls(THANK YOU.) So now we are ready to start painting which we picked up Friday.(Luke and I were both off on Friday due to a funeral for our really good friends dad who pasted) Seth's room will be crisp toast and a chocolate truffle. I also had to work Saturday night at Vic's. So as some of you could see I have been busy. Until the next time(I hope it won't be as long) remember be good the Easter Bunny is watching you.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Happy 15th Birthday to my daughter Andrea. Wow so I remember 15 years ago being a senior in high school scared to death and getting ready to have a baby. Things went well thought she was born at 6:26 in the morning by C-Section. She weighed 7lbs. 5oz. and was 19 inches long(I remember like it was yesterday.) How time really flies I never thought I would have a 15 year daughter at my age oh well shit happens and I wouldn't trade her for the world. Although today is her birthday she is under the weather she has strep(thank you Wade, Keatan, and Mary.) Even though she is ill we are still having a party for her she will have been on meds long enough. Til next time cherish the warm days

The Big Shriner's Night

Okay So Luke and I chose to go to the Shriner's Saturday night (we haven't been in a long time and I now remember why) Things were okay we met Jess and Brad and ate at Puerto Vallarta(yum very good) then we went to the K C hall what a mistake it was so packed that if you went to scratch your ass you better make sure it was yours you were touching. So we had a couple of the drinks there then we headed to the Black Top it wasn't much better so one drink there and we left. The next stop which wasn't part of the Shriner's was Vic's we closed it down and headed for home. So once again Luke and I was reminded of why we hadn't went to Shriner's night in so many years. On the last note tomorrow is my daughter Andrea's 15th Birthday.

I think I hate my job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some days do you ever feel like you would love to go to your boss and say take this job and shove it? That's how I am feeling today I feel like we have the most rude, irresponsible, and inconsiderate students in the tri-state. Can't wait til summer vacation. On a different note Luke and I decided to insulate the north wall in the basement on the outside wow what a mess we ripped into. After removing the siding we discovered some big time rotten wood after a lot of cussing and discussing we got everything under control and sealed up the siding put back on and finished it only took about 4 days. Now my basement on the inside is once again completely messed up. Oh well guess I will clean it up this weekend. Remember think spring(we sure got teased this weekend)

The Big ROOT CANAL

Ok so Andrea had her root canal yesterday and the pain is gone thank god everything went really well. Andrea is much happier. The other good thing is that we ate at Red Lobster(yum). After returning home we stopped in at The Mane Image and Hallie got her first real hair cut( and she is 5) Pam cut 8 inches off her hair ( picture coming soon) hopefully we will be able to donate it to Locks of Love. What a week!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW!!!! What a week. I thought that maybe this would be a calm week guess again. It all started with me thinking that my children and I needed to attended the basketball games Monday and Tuesday night(Regionals at Olney, Newton won the first game but lost the second.) Then Wednesday morning went to hell Andrea woke up with a tooth ache. So I sent her to school and went to work I called the dentist and they were able to see her at 11:15 so I left work and took her. This is were the fun begins(hahahaha) Dr. Koester what a wonderful man took and X-ray and looked in there and right away said I will need to refer to Dr. Fischer in Terre Haute she needs a root canal($960.00) done. I'm thinking great so she is scheduled to see Dr. Fischer on Tuesday March 3,2009. Then we will have to go back to see Dr. Koester to have either a crown or a cap put on(anywhere from $700.00-$800.00 more.) I wish the fun only stopped here but it doesn't because Karli woke up Thursday morning around 3:30 with a fever and an ear ache so I took her to the doctor and see has a double ear infection. Luke has also been sick. So as you can see my house fell apart this week not to mention that my babysitter is having knee replacement so yesterday was the girls last day their. I hope you all enjoyed this lovely update I will be sure to keep you informed about Andrea and her tooth problem.

What a weekend

I never thought that I would be glad to see Monday come but wow after this weekend I am glad it is here. Although I did have a personal day on Friday to take Hallie and pre-register her for kindergarten, I also got to babysit for my neighbor Lacey's little girl Maddie what a BLAST!!!!!
Maddie is about six months old and a very happy baby the girls enjoyed her. So Saturday I went to do the usual grocery shopping and Wal-Mart (ugh!) stop and had to work at Vic's that evening. On Sunday the kids and I went to Olney to eat at Sub Fast Pizza Fast with my mom, Mary, Brandon, Jess, and the kids then we went to see my brothers house that he just bought. That's it my weekend all wrapped up.

Here is Seth and his future new bedroom he is eager to move in. Hopefully in a few days.

They did it again

As most of you know by now from Marys blog that our Jessica and her family along with the Slankards have done it again Congrats!!!!! They won there battle against Clay City Unit #10 again. All though it may be a conflict for me because of working in the Clay City school district I am glad that once again defeated them. But it is not over yet Clay City still has the right to appeal the decision again but this time it will have to go to circuit court. I feel that if anybody who is in the Clay City School District reads this you will contact your board members and let them know that this has cost the district enough money all ready. Like I said before CONGRATS!!!!!!!! to my sis and the Slankards you have made the right choice this is and was worth fighting for.
